Government recognised and innovation driven

As an excellent enterprise certified by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of the People's Republic of China (MIIT) as complying with the "Standard Conditions for the Comprehensive Utilisation of Plastic Scrap Industry", Zili has always been in the forefront of environmental protection and innovation.2023, Zili not only received 25 million RMB funding subsidy in the Central Special Project on Pollution Control and Energy Saving and Carbon Reduction, but also 20 million RMB government subsidy in the Shanghai Recycling Economy Development Plan. These funds have enabled the smooth implementation of our 100,000-tonne annual production capacity of high-performance PET strap project and comprehensive utilisation of resources project. This not only reflects the state's support and recognition of Zili's efforts in promoting environmental protection and resource recycling, but also demonstrates our leading position and innovation ability in both domestic and international markets.

Circular economy practices and resource efficiency

In the context of Global Climate Action, Zili Strapping not only focuses on the quality and performance of our products, but also on the environmental impact of their production process. By optimising our production processes and enhancing resource recycling, we are effectively reducing environmental pollution while providing our customers with more environmentally friendly product choices. Each year, we recycle and convert 200,000 tonnes of waste plastics, reducing the need for new raw materials and significantly reducing environmental pollution. In addition, our 3MW rooftop photovoltaic system improves energy efficiency and reduces CO2 emissions by 285,000 tonnes per annum, contributing to regional carbon neutrality targets.

Tech Leadership and Eco Practices

Zili has 30 international advanced strapping production lines, 6 granulation production lines and 2 SSP high viscosity particle production lines, with an annual production capacity of 100,000 tonnes of strapping, 150,000 tonnes of PET particles and 120,000 tonnes of high viscosity particles, covering the whole industrial chain from raw materials to finished products. Our products not only meet the international environmental standards, but are also widely exported to Europe, America, Southeast Asia, the Middle East, Africa, Australia and other regions, winning high recognition in the international market.Every year, we invest 25% of our profits in new product development and the purchase of scientific research equipment in order to maintain technological leadership and continuously improve product competitiveness.

Within 800 kilometres around Shanghai, we have set up 150 recycling sites for baling bands and a recycled plastic particle processing plant in Malaysia, forming an efficient recycling network. These actions not only reflect the implementation of Zili's commitment to environmental protection, but are also a positive response to the U.S.-China Climate Action Framework.
