Industry-academia-research base: visit the core of self-sustainable science and technology

On 4th July, in the scorching summer, we were pleased to receive 85 energetic students from the School of Materials Science and Engineering of Tongji University. As a talent training and industry-academia-research co-operation base of Tongji University, Zili provided a rare opportunity for the students to take an in-depth tour of our advanced and intelligent production line and witness our excellent production equipment and precise process flow. They not only understood the whole production process of Zili strapping from an academic point of view, but also could feel our strong determination in the field of technological upgrading and automated production from a practical point of view, as well as our professionalism in every step of the process, from the careful selection of raw materials, to the formulation of a rigorous manufacturing process, and the execution of fine quality control.

Professional Seminar: Promoting Packaging Industry Innovation with Technology

With enthusiasm and curiosity for packaging technology, students discussed the theme of technology-driven innovation in depth with company leaders and college professors at the symposium. Mr Ye explained in detail the company's globalisation strategy, advanced technology and market prospects. He shared how we integrate advanced technology into every detail of our products to achieve an annual production capacity of 160,000 tonnes of high-quality strapping bands for diversified industries such as photovoltaic, steel, aluminium and building materials. The students showed strong interest in the R&D capability and innovative achievements of Zili.

From Asia, Europe, to North America, our products have won the recognition and favour of many large global enterprises, including Baowu Steel, Sinopec, APP Paper, Honda, China Cotton, Gree, etc. Zili's high quality PET strapping has excellent physical properties, for example, its tensile breaking load is as high as 500MPa, indicating its extremely high strength; the interface strength is more than 93%, demonstrating the strength of the joint; the tolerance width ±0.3mm and thickness ±0.03mm, reflecting the precise dimensional control of our products. Behind these values, they represent Zili's rigorous attitude towards its products and its spirit of craftsmanship in striving for excellence.

Through this activity, the trainees deeply felt the corporate culture of Zili Strapping - "family" culture. The respect and expectation for talents, the persistence and pursuit of products, as well as the outlook for the future all gave them a deeper understanding of Zili. Zili Strapping is looking forward to more excellent talents from universities to join us and work together to realise a global shared factory in PET strapping industry. The visit of the students from Tongji University brought them a profound field experience, and also injected new vitality into Zili, making us look forward to the future development.
